WSU offers training for small businesses

The Washington State University Learning Center and the Wahkiakum and the Kelso Longview Chambers of Commerce will host a two part seminar on "How to Succeed in Small Business" in May.

Prospective new or current local business owners are encouraged to attend these seminars to learn how to build a strong, successful business in the Lower Columbia region.

Topics and presentations will include Planning, Finance, Cash Flow, Marketing, Sales, and Recordkeeping. Local business experts will offer sound proven strategies to get things done in the real world of business. Registrants will receive practical, money-saving ideas, valuable tips and realistic advice.

This seminar will be offered in two parts. Participants may register for either or both sessions. Session one will be held on May 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Session two will take place on May 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
