The Randolph Lawson Chapter, National Society of Children of the American Revolution (NSCAR), is being organized under the sponsorship of the Mary Richardson Walker Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
The new chapter is designated for the Kelso/Longview area but will serve all of Southwest Washington, with prospective members from Lewis, Cowlitz and Clark counties.
Eager to get her children involved, Connie Anderson of Onalaska, a newly admitted member of DAR and the Mary Richardson Walker Chapter, Kelso/Longview agreed to serve as senior organizing president. Her daughter Rachel will serve as President.
Anyone under the age of 21 is eligible for membership in NSCAR who is lineally descended from a soldier, sailor, civil officer, or recognized patriot of the American Revolution.
