Family Center gets new executive director

The Board of Directors of St. James Family Center has announced their new Executive Director.

Beth Hansen will take over from Carol Carver on June 1. Hansen has worked at the Center for 12 years, and the board was unanimous in appointing her to the new position.

"We want to thank her for the years of work and commitment to our community and we look forward to the vision she will bring to the center," said Leigh O'Malley, Board of Directors Chair.

Hansen has lived in Cathlamet since 1992 and has been manager of the Charlotte House for the past seven years.

"We are excited about our future, and we ask you all to join us in welcoming Beth Hansen as Executive Director of St. James Family Center," said O'Malley.
