Monday night is Ride Night 6-7:30 p.m. every Monday night until fair.

Chaperoned rides with music will take place in the Fairgrounds Arena. This is the opportunity to get your horses socialized and used to being in the arena. Angel Hall will be there for advice on showing and horse handling. Boots and helmets must be worn to participate. Suggested $2 donation.

Win a hand pieced quilt! See the beautiful quilt up close at the Extension Office, 25 River Street, Cathlamet. Raffle tickets are only one dollar and are available at the Extension Office, the Rosburg Store and in the Wahkiakum Visitor’s Center in the Scarborough Building. This is a fundraiser for 4-H fair activities. The drawing will be held during Bald Eagle Days. You need not be present to win!

Have you volunteered for the Fair in the past? Due to the flooding, we may not have a record of what you’ve done. Records are in the process of being rebuilt and the hours you’ve put in are valuable for grant applications! Call the Fair Office 795-3480, or email: wahkiakumfair@centurytel.net.

The Wahkiakum County Fair will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 16 through 18 at the County Fairgrounds in Skamokawa.
