NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS

PORT DISTRICT PROPERTY

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 30th day of April, 2010, at 1:00 P.M., Port District No. 1 of Wahkiakum County, Washington, a municipal corporation, shall pursuant to motion(s) of the Board of Commissioners, sell for cash to the highest bidder the following items of Port District surplus property.

 1. The surplus "F" Ramp.

The ramp must be removed from Port District property by May 15, 2010 as a condition of the sale. Minimum bid is $250.00.

Said property is available for inspection during the District's regular business hours by arrangement with Manager Jackie Lea (360) 795-3501.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the District reserves the right to refuse any or all bids on said property. The sale will be for cash, money order or cashier's check and will be sold to the highest and best bidder on an "as is" basis on the date and at the time of the sale. The sale shall be final and the District makes no warranty of fitness of said item for any purpose. The purchaser shall be liable for any and all taxes due.

Bidders may submit a written bid mailed to the District at 500 Second Street, Cathlamet, WA 98612, or deliveered to the District Office at the Elochoman Slough Marina, Cathlamet, WA. All written bids must be received by the District by Friday, April 30, 2010, no later than 1:00 p.m., and shall be clearly marked with the item to be sold. It is the obligation of the prospective bidder to properly and timely deliver his/her or its bid.

ALL BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CASHIERS CHECK, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR POSTAL MONEY ORDER IN THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE BID INCLUDING SALES TAX. THE BID SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE WITH THE NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER OF THE BIDDER CLEARLY MARKED ON THE FRONT.
