May 10--11:19 a.m. A Beaver Creek Road resident said people were trespassing to cut wood; a deputy investigated. 11:29 a.m. A caller said someone in a white van almost drove into a group of young children and adults along Columbia Street. 2:29 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to transport a man who was very ill to a hospital. 3:03 p.m. A caller reported someone had left a nice bicycle by the Grays River Covered Bridge for the past three days; a deputy investigated. 11:19 p.m. Wahkiakum Mental Health reported a resident was a suicide risk; an officer investigated.
May 11--12:38 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a woman who had taken an overdose. 12:38 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Spring Street address to aid a woman who was having abdominal pain. 8:27 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid an Altoona-Pillar Rock Road woman with chest pain. 9:28 a.m. The Grays River fire department was dispatched to a motor home on fire on SR 4 near Grays River. 12:55 p.m. A caller reported being threatened by a large dog while bicycling near Satterlund Road. 2:08 p.m. A Cathlamet business reported an attempted fraud. 4:19 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance, District 4 firemen, and law enforcement officers responded to SR 4 in Cathlamet where a motor home had run off the highway and rolled over. 5 p.m. A Rosedale business reported a pickup drove off without paying for fuel.
May 12--9:24 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a Greenslade Road resident. 11:36 a.m. A motorist called to complain about the length of time a construction crew was holding up traffic on a bridge near Grays River; she was referred to the state patrol. 9:42 p.m. Two callers reported hearing a gunshot in or near the RV park in Rosedale; an officer investigated but found no one around. 11:04 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosedale woman injured in a fall.
May 13--9:29 a.m. A woman reported someone was using her son's ATM card and credit card fraudulently. 4:40 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a teenage male with chest pain. 5:03 p.m. A Barr Road woman reported a bear was roaming around her property; the call was referred to Washington Fish and Wildlife. 9:24 p.m. Longview police asked that Wahkiakum officers arrest a man wanted for assault and malicious mischief and believed to be at an Elochoman Valley residence; officers went to the residence, found the man there, and arrested him.
May 14--10:35 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid an Oneida Road woman with a leg injury. 7:55 p.m. A Hungry Highway Road resident reported two people involved in a roll over accident up the road needed aid; it was determined that the accident happened in Pacific County, and the Naselle ambulance and Pacific County Sheriff's Office were dispatched.
May 15--1:05 a.m. A caller reported people fighting on Main Street; an officer responded, and the people said they had been mock wrestling. 8:57 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an East Sunny Sands woman having chest pains. 11:23 a.m. A Middle Valley woman said an aggressive dog was on her deck and trying to get into her house; a deputy investigated. 12:03 p.m. A caller reported a live power line was down along SR 4 near Cathlamet; the PUD responded. 9:16 p.m. A caller asked that officers watch for a black Subaru whose occupants may be involved in work equipment arson up Salmon Creek; a Pacific County officer contacted the vehicle in Naselle. 11:08 p.m. A Cathlamet woman reported a man was pounding on the residence door for a potential domestic assault; an officer responded.
May 16--11:16 a.m. A caller reported finding an injured bald eagle near SR 4 in eastern Wahkiakum; the Department of Fish and Wildlife was notified. 11:54 a.m. A Rosedale business reported a vehicle belonging to a Puget Island resident drove away without paying for gasoline; an officer made contact. 1:25 p.m. A motorist reported finding garbage that someone had dumped along Steamboat Slough Road on the game refuge. 2:35 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman injured in a fall. 9:02 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported that a distraught person was assaulting her caregiver; an officer and a mental health professional responded. 10:35 p.m. An officer arrested a driver after making a vehicle stop on Columbia Street.
