Melody (Mel) Rose Music of Centralia went to live in heaven with her loving Father on June 25, 2010. Mel was born on August 26, 1953 in Chehalis. After nursing school she spent 29 years in Cathlamet. She was a faithful member of the Cathlamet Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mel was one of the sweetest and loving people around and had many great friends. The great friends she made at her apartment building will miss her greatly as they became her second family.

Melody was preceded in death by her father Ernest H. Music. Survivors include her mother Betty L. Music of Napavine; sisters Ann M. Wallace of Battle Ground, Sarah L. Keim ( Richard ) of Centralia, Laura L. Music of Napavine; brothers Harold J. Music ( Linda ) of Chehalis, Ernie R. Music of Puyallup, Donald W. Music ( Peggy ) of Rochester. There are also 10 nieces, five nephews, four great-nieces, five great nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Melody also had a very special friend, Kenneth R. Akers.

There will be a Memorial on July 25, 2010 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centralia at 3 p.m.

There will be a potluck to follow the service.
