Lady Mules lose 67-21 to top-ranked Toutle

The Associated Press writers top-ranked Toutle Lake Ducks defeated the Wahkiakum Lady Mules 67-21 in a Central 2B League game last Thursday.
The Mules hung close in the first quarter, trailing only 11-7. In the second quarter, the Ducks took off, outscoring the visiting Mules 24-3 and taking control of the game.
Shelby Felton led the Mule scoring with eight points. Brianne Helms and Maya Stanley each scored four, Brieanna Olsen two, and Blaine Land, Ellee Crouse and Caitlin Nicolazzi one each.
The Mules were at Winlock last night (Wednesday); they go to Adna on Friday and entertain Mossyrock next Wednesday night.
