Deanne Durham

Deanne Durham, 53, of Cathlamet, passed away February 24, 2011 at her home. She was born June 25, 1957 in Stockton, Calif. to Treweet and Diana (Rogers) Spencer. She graduated from Kamiah High School in Idaho. On August 23, 1975 she married Steve Durham; they moved to Cathlamet in 2007 from Petaluma, Calif .; he survives her at home.

Deanne was passionate about her family and friends, she was known for her big heart and her willingness to help out anyone in their time of need. She had a great love of nature and its beauty. She enjoyed water polo and was active as a commissioner in Boy Scouts of America.

In addition to her husband Steve, she is survived by her sons, Steven P.S. Durham and Daniel Steven Durham, Jr. both of Cathlamet; her daughters, Steffenee Allen (Tom) of Aberdeen, N.C. and Danielle Gaines (Augie) of Carbonadale, Colo .; her sisters, Nancy, Wynette, Peggy and Lori; and her grandchildren, Faith and Carissa Allen and Paxton Gaines. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Steven Durham in 2005 and a sister, Kathy.
