Time for tea at St. James event

St. James Church is sponsoring their third annual English Tea from noon to 2:30 p.m. on April 30.
The gym at the St. James Family Center will be transformed into a tea garden with flowers, linen and fine china. Savory and sweet items will be available along with scones and jam and unlimited cups of tea, all overseen by two expatriate Brits.
A basket raffle will be held with five specially created theme baskets from which to choose, with themes including Coffee and Chocolate for Two, Pamper Yourself Spa, Everything Garden, and Tea Time. To view the baskets or buy tickets in advance, contact Shirl at the family center.
A plant sale will also take place the same day from noon to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $12 each with all proceeds going to St. James Family Center. Reservations are encouraged; call 795-8612 for tickets.
