One more vegetable starts workshop set

Due to further requests, another vegetable starts workshop has been set by WSU Extension. On April 21 at 6 p.m., Cowlitz County Master Gardeners will assist participants in starting fall vegetable plants that only include squash, pumpkins, cantaloupe, watermelons and cucumbers. Pre-registration is required by April 18; contact Gary Fredricks at 577-3014 Ext. 3 or at garyf@wsu.edu. Participants will pre-select their seeds and will pick them up that night. Those attending will take home 18 pots that they planted with seeds of their choosing to grow inside their homes. Attendees will receive a 1 - 10"X20" tray with greenhouse dome, 18 - 4" pots, seed starting mix and seeds. The workshop cost is $20. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
