April 14, 2011

A spring garden plant sale on April 30 will help with garden planning and benefit the St. James Family Center.

A wide selection of plants will be available in the center's gym from noon to 3 p.m. including houseplants, ornamentals, perennials, bedding plants, trees, vegetable starts and herbs.

Plants are being donated by Skamokawa Gardens Fred Meyer, Stockhouse's Farm, Island's End Farm, Logee's Tropical Plants, Rachael Wolford, Tsugawa Nursery, and more.

Unusual plants such as tea plants, ornamental bananas, cymbidium orchids, and aloe vera, will also be available.

A WSU Master Gardener will be in attendance to help answer gardening questions.
