APPLICATION FOR SHORELINE

MANAGEMENT,

SUBSTANTIAL

DEVELOPMENT,

CONDITIONAL USE, OR VARIANCE

PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that Jon B. Peterson, Who is applicant of the below described property has filed an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development/Conditional Use Permit for the development of an alternate gear type using a temporary Pound Net Test Site for evaluation to determine feasible method to collect, study, and release adult salmon in the Columbia River. Located at Upper Cathlamet Channel of the Columbia River below Nassa Point. Said development is proposed to be within Columbia River and/or its associated wetlands. Any person desiring to express his or her views or wish to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify Wahkiakum County Building and Planning in writing of his or her interest within 30 days of the final date of publication of this notice which is August 11, 2011.

Written comments must be received by September 9, 2011.

A Determination of Non-Significance has been issued pursuant to WAC 197-11-340, any comments should be directed to the Wahkiakum County Building and Planning Department, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612, Within 14 days.

Written comments on the SEPA DNS must be submitted by August 15, 2011.
