Council OK's pool bid

In a special meeting Monday, the Cathlamet Town Council accepted a bid to perform maintenance work at the Julia Butler Hansen Municipal Swimming Pool.
The work ranges from installing steps into the wading pool to making improvements to showers.
Low bidder was Don Wagers of D.P. Construction at $18,520 plus sales tax.
The only other bid came from Greg Prestegard Construction at $22,446 plus tax.
