NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON FRANCHISE APPLICATION FILED BY WAHKIAKUM COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 3

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wahkiakum County Fire District No. 3 has filed with the Board of County Commissioners for Wahkiakum County, Washington, a Franchise Application for a Western Wahkiakum Water System Expansion Project, as more particularly described in the Franchise Application now on file with Wahkiakum County Department of Public Works, for construction of a sewage pipe line within the right-of-way of East Hull Creek County Road, within Section 12 and 13, Township 10 North, Range 8 West of the Willamette Meridian, Wahkiakum County, Washington.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners for Wahkiakum County, Washington, shall conduct a public hearing regarding the advisability of granting the above-described franchise, said hearing to commence at the hour of 10:45 A.M. on Tuesday, the 24th day of January, 2012, in the Commissioners' Public Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Wahkiakum County Courthouse, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet, Washington 98612.

Any person may appear at said hearing and speak for or against the granting of the requested franchise.

The Commissioners' Public Meeting Room is accessible for persons with disabilities.
