Notice of Budget

Extension Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a budget extension hearing for the 2011-2012 Capital Projects Fund and Debt Service Fund of Wahkiakum School District No. 200, Wahkiakum County, Cathlamet, WA, will be held at the Wahkiakum High School library on Thursday, May 24, 2012, beginning at approximately 7:05 p.m. This hearing will be incorporated into the initial part of the regular May school board meeting.

Everyone is welcome to appear at said hearing and be heard for or against any part of such budgets. The extensions are necessary in order to include the expenses of summer maintenance projects that were unanticipated when the budget was prepared. The Board of Directors will meet following the hearing in the regular meeting to consider adopting the extended budgets.

Copies of the district extended budgets will be on file in the school district administration office by May 18, 2012. Copies will be furnished to any person who calls upon the district for it.
