Notice is hereby given that Port of Longview, Who is applicant of the below described property has filed an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development/Conditional Use Permit for the development of Columbia River Channel maintenance dredging upland disposal at Rice Island and Browns Island. Located at Rice Island - Columbia River Mile 21; Sec. 20, T9N R8W, W.M. Browns Island - Columbia River Mile 46.3; Section 29, T8N, R5W, W.M., in Rosburg and Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington. Said development is proposed to be within Columbia River and/or the associated wetlands. Any person desiring to express his or her views or wish to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify Wahkiakum County Building and Planning in writing of his or her interest within 30 days of the final date of publication of this notice which is August 16, 2012.

Written comments must be received by September 14, 2012.
