RESOLUTION NO. 126-12

A RESOLUTION CLOSING KANDOLL ROAD

FROM MILEPOST 0.5 TO MILEPOST 1.3

 WHEREAS, based upon the report and recommendation of the County Engineer, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that work proposed by Columbia Land Trust necessitates the closure of Kandoll Road from milepost 0.5 to milepost 1.3 from September 26, 2012 until October 31, 2012; and

 WHEREAS, Section 47.48.010 of the Revised Code of Washington grants authority to the Board of County Commissioners to restrict travel on county roads when conditions demand it;

 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, as follows:

 Section 1: Kandoll Road between milepost 0.5 and milepost 1.3 shall be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. on September 26, 2012 until 5:00 p.m. on October 31, 2012.

 Section 2: The County Engineer is directed to post signs indicating the road closure established in Section 1 of this Resolution.

 Section 3: Upon posting of signs and publication of a Public Notice in the Wahkiakum County Eagle any person violating the terms of this Resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
