Mules top Pirates, lose to Trojans

The Wahkiakum Lady Mule volleyball team defeated Adna 3-2 last Thursday.
The Mules rolled to a 25-16 first set win. The Pirates won the next two 25-23, 25-22. The Mules won the fourth set 25-23 and sailed through the last set to win 15-6.
Baylee Olsen had 15 kills, Tori Wegdahl hit 13 kills for the Mules. Kaylee Bryant and Madison LaBerge each served 100 percent.
The Mules played at Pe Ell Tuesday by scores of 12-25, 17-25, 25-22, 23-25.
The Mules entertain Onalaska tonight (Thursday). They go to Napavine on October 16 and entertain Morton/White Pass on October 18.
