Tickets still available for Museum's valentine raffle

The next regular meeting of the board of directors of the Wahkiakum Historical Society will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 11, at the Hotel Cathlamet.
The main business to be conducted will be the drawing for the annual Valentine Dinner for two at the Inn at Crippen Creek.
“It’s going to be a pretty small drawing,” said Judy Brawn, the Historical Society’s president.
“Participation has been low this year, not only due to the weather, but also the fact that we were only able to have sales at two locations, the Chevron station and the Video Store.”
A third location, the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce, is now available.
They will also take orders by phone. Interested parties may call Brawn at 562-1925. Tickets are $5. The winner receives a lavish dinner for two, courtesy of the Inn at Crippen Creek. The dinner includes champagne, flowers and chocolates donated by Sassy’s Bakery and Candy Shop.
