The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for their first ever salmon derby “Hook the Hawg,” to be held March 29 and 30 at the Elochoman Slough Marina. There is no fee for vendors.

Weigh-in for gill cut fish will be between 2-5 p.m. each day.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for youth and children 10 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at Elochoman Slough Marina, Bank of the Pacific in Cathlamet and Moore Auto and Marine.

Prizes include fishing rods and cash.

This fundraiser will benefit Wahkiakum High School scholarships.
