March 16 at Rainier Icebreaker
Twenty schools in the boys division and 19 from the girls division in Class 1B to 2A sizes competed. The Wahkiakum girls 1600m relay team placed fifth in 5:06 (Heywood, Abbot, Elliott, Peacock). Heywood was sixth in the high jump at 4-6. Peacock placed eighth in the 200 and 400m runs, 30.1 and 1:12.5, respectively. The Wahkiakum boys, team unavailable, placed sixth in a sprint medley on 100m, 100m, 200m and 400m runs.
