The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum Mule golf team moved their interleague match record to 10-0 on March 28 with a four-ball, best of five man score 169 at Skyline Golf Course.

Willapa Valley shot 183, giving the Mules their closest match of the season, a 14 stroke differential.

Also competing but fielding incomplete teams were North Beach, Raymond and South Bend high schools.

Medalist honors went to Willapa sophomore Nicholas Bertrocoff of Valley who shot 38. Mules Bradley Peek and Austin Good tied for second with 41; Elliot Haney shot 43, Brysen Coleman 44 and Zach Calvert 48 as the Mules' starting five players. Also playing were Brook Calvert 44, Eli McElroy 54 and Maya Stanley 74.

The Mules next match is April 8 at Adna.
