The Charlotte House, a program of St. James Family Center, provides free and confidential services for victims of family violence and/or sexual assault.

Legal advocacy is a specific service that they offer. While they are not lawyers and cannot give legal advice, they are able to assist victims in navigating the legal process - protection orders, anti-harassment orders, supporting clients in court, listening. Their job as advocates is to be there for victims with no other agenda.
