Wahkiakum PTO is sponsoring a Family Fun Night at J.A. Wendt Elementary School on May 17 from 6-8 p.m.

Several fun activities are planned, including face painting, fishing pond, basketball shoot-out, football toss, candy bar jump and much more.

Tickets for the activities will be sold at the door, five for a dollar with all proceeds going to support the school.

There will be a DJ in the multi-purpose room playing family-friendly music for dancing and competitions. A silent auction will be held for items donated by each classroom. Proceeds from the auction will be used to purchase new books for the school library.

Parents who would like to volunteer and are able to run events should contact the PTO through Jessica Vik at 560-4668.
