The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The annual Neewollah Daze poster contest entries have been gathered and judged. Following are the winner’s names:

Kindergarten: Camren, Gage and Jayden Schoddard.

First Grade: Bella, Maddisen and Rylan.

Second Grade: Reagen Hoogendoorn, Nyomie Mazon and Angel.

Third Grade: McKenna Mendez, Selena Salas and Bonnie Ecklund.

Fourth Grade: Cayden Mendez, Megan Leitz and Emmie Neimela.

Fifth Grade: Jenna Mells, Jake Leitz and Eli Moon.

The contest is sponsored by the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce and prizes may be picked up at Bank of the Pacific. The Chamber thanks Erin Wilson and Bank of the Pacific for taking the time to judge posters.

Neewollah Daze activities continue today (Thursday), 4 p.m., with the annual costume contest sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and held at the Bank of the Pacific.
