NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AN

ORDINANCE ADOPTING A MORATORIUM ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF

MARIJUANA-RELATED FACILITIES AND USES RELATED TO OR INSTITUTED PURSUANT TO INITIATIVE 502

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Wahkiakum County, Washington, will hold a public hearing commencing Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Wahkiakum County Courthouse, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet, Washington, for the purpose of:

Determining whether or not an Ordinance adopting a moratorium on the establishment of marijuana-related facilities and uses related to or instituted pursuant to I-502

1. A moratorium on the establishment of marijuana-related facilities and uses instituted under or pursuant to I-502

2. Medical cannabis production and use pursuant to other sources of law are not affected by this Ordinance.

Proposed ordinance can be viewed entirely at http://www.co.wahkiakum.wa.us or will be available upon request at the Wahkiakum County Commissioners’ office. Interested persons may appear and be heard at said public hearing, or submit written comments to the Wahkiakum County Clerk of the Board at P. O. Box 586, Cathlamet, WA 98612, prior to the hearing date.
