NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SHORELINE

MANAGEMENT, SUBSTANTIAL

DEVELOPMENT, CONDITIONAL USE,

OR VARIANCE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that Wahkiakum County Public Works, Who is applicant and owner of the below described property has filed an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development/Conditional Use Permit for the development of: Wahkiakum Ferry Channel and Berthing Area dredging project. Dredge approximately 2,750 cubic yards of material for the ferry berthing area in conjunction with a U.S. Army Corps project to dredge the Wahkiakum Ferry Channel; shoreline permit application 2014-2-5. Located at 785 SR 409, Cathlamet, WA 98612, within NW 1/4 of Section 25, T8N, R6W, W.M., Wahkiakum County, Washington. Said development is proposed to be within Columbia River and/or the associated wetlands. Any person desiring to express his or her views or wish to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify Wahkiakum County Building and Planning in writing of his or her interest within 30 days of the final date of publication of this notice which is May 1, 2014.

Written comments must be received by May 30, 2014.

A Determination of Non-Significance has been issued on April 17, 2014, pursuant to WAC 197-11-340, any comments should be directed to the Wahkiakum County Building and Planning Department, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612, Within 14 days.

Written comments on the SEPA DNS must be submitted by May 1, 2014.
