The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum Mule golf team avenged two short handed losses to Northwest Christian with 179-222 victory away at Hawks Prairie Golf Course in Lacy last week.

The Mules finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the two team event. Austin Good medaled with a 41; Elliot Haney shot 43; Zach Calvert 45, and Brady LaBerge 50. The Mules shot 217 the last time they were at Hawks Prairie, so this was a nice improvement.

The Mules' intra-team match record moves to 22-4 with one match left against four teams at Willapa Harbor Golf Course today (Thursday).

The District 4 Golf Championships are now scheduled at Newaukum Golf Club in Chehalis on May 20 and 21.
