Daisy Chain Floral and Gifts will open in April at 65 Main St., next to Lower Columbia Realty in Cathlamet.

Nicole Emery, owner and floral designer, will specialize in creative floral arrangements for all occasions as well as an array of plants and unique gifts.

Emery attended the Art Institute and the Pacific Northwest School of Art in Portland for three years. She has a background in flowers and plants as an assistant manager and garden specialist for several years in Longview. She gained experience in floral design locally working for Cathlamet Floral.

Upon opening, Emery will be a certified Floral Designer, graduating from the Floral Institute of Portland.
