Jenna McIntyre looks on as Sydney Hansen uses a CAD (computer aided design) program and a plasma cutter in Kyle Hurley's voc/ag class at Wahkiakum High School to create stainless steel letters that will be used on a park sign in Cathlamet. The project was brought to them by Kiwanis and the Town of Cathlamet. Right: Trivets created by some of Kyle Hurley's voc/ag students using the CAD program and the plasma cutter. Below: The Erickson Park sign takes shape at the WHS shop. The cedar was donated by Mayor Dale Jacobson.
