The hounds are running again this weekend at Misty Rivers Plantation, 117 Cross Dike Road on Puget Island.

This meet will be sponsored by the Willamette Valley Basenji Club, and is for AKC registered sight hounds only.

Dogs will start chasing the lure at 9 a.m., on both Saturday and Sunday, and run until done, usually around mid-afternoon.

The public is invited, and well-leashed dogs are also welcome to attend as spectators. Parking is available along the driveway in front, and limited handicapped parking and restrooms are available on the running field in back.

A lure coursing meet for dogs of all breeds or mixed breeds will be held on the same premises in two weeks, on the weekend of May 28-29. For further information call Judy Brawn at 562-1925.
