R. Bruce Myers passed away December 4, 2016 in Longview, WA. Bruce was born on February 7, 1954 at Cowlitz General Hospital and remained a lifelong Longview resident.

In 1972 Bruce graduated from Mark Morris High School and went on to become the Production Manager at the Daily News where he worked for 44 years.

Bruce was a loving husband, father, and friend who always put others before himself. He was happiest with family by his side, traveling the West, and exploring the outdoors. All who knew him will remember his quick wit and dry sense of humor.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Myers, and grandparents, Charles and Alice Myers and Joseph and Margaret Sim.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Myers, father Marshall Myers (Nora Lee), sister Gail Myers, brother Barry Myers (Darla), sister Cathy Dahl (Stan), children Nate Bullock (Barbara), Jill Myers (Dan Jewett), Travis Bullock (Katie), Jonathan Myers (Cassie), grandchildren Libby, Charlie, Sophie, Asher, and Hadley. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.
