Sports calendar for the Naselle Comet teams this week includes: Thursday, high school boys basketball with South Bend in Naselle at 5:45 p.m .; Friday, boys and girls high school basketball with Lake Quinault in Naselle at 5:45 p.m .; Saturday, JV boys and girls basketball at Warrenton at 11 a.m .; Tuesday, high school boys and girls basketball at Taholah at 3 p.m., middle school boys basketball in Naselle at 5:45 p.m. Go Comets!

No school on Monday, the 16th for Martin Luther King holiday.

The Naselle School Board will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

This is the countdown to the annual Crab and Oyster Feed, sponsored by the American Legion Deep River Post #111, which is being held on January 28 beginning at 6 p.m. Only 200 tickets will be sold at the price of $28 per person.

Live music will be provided by the King Brothers and if you only wish to attend the dance, the entry fee is $5 beginning at 9 p.m. Come join the fun, the food and know that you are supporting a terrific local organization.

The Grays River Cafe is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check them out. Great food and good company. Try the chicken fried steak--some of the best I have ever had.

The Rosburg Wednesday Senior Lunch Bunch meets in the Rosburg Hall each week for a delicious home cooked meal prepared and served by Pat Potter and her volunteers.

On Thursdays, a senior meal is also served at the above location and lunch is served on both days at noon.
