The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Wahkiakum High School senior Peyton Souvenir was named the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association's 2B Player of the Year on Saturday, March 18, during halftime of the WIBCA 2B vs. 1B All Star Game. Two quarters later, she was named Most Valuable Player in the All Star Game. Every player got to play 16 minutes and Souvenir made the most of her time. She scored 21 points, shooting 8 for 10 from the field. She also had six steals, six assists, two rebounds and one block. Photo by Diana Zimmerman.
