The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Progress has been made on the Gillnetter's Memorial at the Elochoman Slough Marina in Cathlamet. The foundation has been poured and the structure of the memorial has been built. According to Stephanie Olsen, the first two large bronze plaques have arrived and about 60 name plates have been sold.
