Don’t forget about our Free Book Exchange from June 12th through June 17th. The hours will be 9:00-1:00 Monday through Friday and 1:00-4:00 on Saturday. This is a great chance to get a new book or two for the Summer. Feel free to bring in any of your old books. We will have a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, how-to etc., to choose from. We could use some more children’s titles. This is also a fantastic opportunity to stop in and meet some new friends over refreshments. Please contact Jonnie Knowles-360-795-3946 or Kelly Patterson- 360-795-7870 with any questions.

Our Free Friday Night Movies are a great way to spend a Summer evening! This Friday’s selection is titled U.S. vs. John Lennon. It is a documentary for all audiences. Movies start at 7:00 p.m., and children 0-12 must be accompanied by an adult. There is always free popcorn or bring a snack of your choice. Weekly movie selections are posted at the Community Center and the Library. Please call Kelly with any questions 795-7870.

Do you have an idea for a fun group activity you would like to see at the Community Center? Maybe you have a class in mind or would enjoy a one-time event? Please let us know. All suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. This is your Community Center, Wahkiakum County, so let’s work together to make it great and resourceful to all our residents!
