The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be partnering with The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments, as well as many other regional and state resources, to bring a Small Business Workshop to Wahkiakum County. This workshop will focus on small business planning and setup, and will even have the opportunity for one-on-one consultations for specific business needs and questions.
“We recognize that setting up and maintaining a business can be confusing and daunting,” said Wahkiakum Chamber Executive Director Ryan Murillo. “All the paperwork, registrations, and business plans really add up. Our hope is this workshop can clarify things and get our local small business owners and entrepreneurs on a path for success.”
Presentations from the Small Business Development Center, Enterprise for Equity, Bank of the Pacific, and more will be followed by breakout sessions for one-on-one consulting with business owners. Topics will include small business planning, funding opportunities, and other available resources for rural businesses.
This workshop will take place at Vista Park Annex Room (95 Vista Park Rd., Skamokawa) on Thursday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to noon, with one-on-one consulting until 4 p.m. To register for the class, visit tinyurl.com/WahkSmallBusiness. Registration is also available at the door. This class is free of charge. For more information, contact the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce by calling 360-795-9996 or emailing info@wahkiakum.us.
