The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The heat didn't keep 72 people from all over the northwest from competing at the Raven's Run disc golf tournament at the Inn at Lucky Mud in Skamokawa last weekend. Two rounds were played, one in the morning, and another in the afternoon. Above, after the buzzer sounded, competitors tee'd off in the second round. "This is quite a subculture," said one disc golfer from Castle Rock. He admitted that he played the game as much as he could in his spare time.

More tournaments are planned.
