We had a great turn out for the Halloween Craft Day, Hosted by Vanessa. Kids made a lot of wonderful decorations. They are hanging on the walls and windows at the center. After decorating, the kids had cake and ice cream to top off a fun filled day.

The Prime rib dinner was on October 21, and was absolutely delicious. Thank you Shonda Ware and all that helped make the evening a success. We had a good turnout and a wonderful dessert made by Mickey Bates. Thank you to all who attended, and supported the event.

Trick or Treat - Things are looking pretty creepy at Grays River Valley Center @ Johnson Park. Ghosts, goblins, and a lot more are getting ready for Halloween. Hot dogs & drinks, a spooky movie and lots of fun, laughter and screams. October 31, 4:30-7 p.m.

Last week on October 18 & 19 Judy Adamson and I went to Bend, Oregon and picked up approximately 56 boxes of books from the Friends of the Library. These are wonderful updated books, and we are so glad for the donation.

We are also making a few changes with the paperback books in the hallways. We are reorganizing them and donating some to surrounding areas. All will be done in a few weeks, so stop by and take a look.

“We apologize for any confusion caused by this, but hope everyone will be patient before judging the end result. All changes to the library and its resources are discussed and agreed upon at our monthly meetings. The public is invited to attend, and share their thoughts and ideas,” said Judy Adamson, Co-Librarian.

Grays River Community Center is excited to let everyone know we have now put the VHS tapes, along with a VHS player in the activity room to be enjoyed by all. So come and enjoy the comfy, cozy room with games and a pool table.

Living Well Event will be held on November 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Grays River Valley Community Center Board meeting has been changed for the month of November. It will be on November 8 at 9:30 a.m.
