On June 3 we had a Community Potluck and Live music, we had a good turn out. Johnson Park would like to thank everyone that donated prizes and for everyone that came and participated in our Community Potluck. Everyone made the event a success. Proposed opening plan The advisory board of Johnson Park has voted to open three days a week; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opening day will be April 27. This will be by appointment only. Anyone wanting to use the facility can call 360-465-2310 and leave a message anytime. Grays River Valley Center has announced that they will open on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning January 5, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only, with masks required, unless further restrictions are ordered. This week the Grays River Valley Center would like to recognize a board member. Shonda Ware and her family. Shonda has been a rock to the Center and the Food Bank for over three years. Shonda is president of the West End Food Bank and is there every Thursday from 1:00-5:00 p.m., unless she has an emergency, which is rare. Shonda is also Vice-President on the board of GRVC.
