Mark your calender's for the upcoming events.

The Halloween Craft day went so well we decided to have a Christmas Craft Day. It will be on December 9 from 1-3 p.m. We will make Christmas decorations for the children to take home, or help to decorate the center. If anyone has decorations or Christmas lights in good condition, they would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Grays River Valley Center Library received another 36 boxes of books from The Friends of the Library in Bend, Ore. So all together we have so far received 136 boxes of newer books. Judy Adamson is in the process of logging them all in. Judy is doing a great job, and is so much appreciated. We are excited to announce The Grand Opening of the Library on December 16 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Come and enjoy some cookies, punch, and have a look around, check out a few books, and enjoy the company.

Hooks and Needles Class has been canceled until further notice. The chairman has some other obligations at this time. Thank you for understanding.

We have decided to name the rooms at Grays River Valley Community Center, and would like to have some community input. We thought it would be nice to name the rooms after some of the teachers, librarians, principals, coaches etc. Some from when the school first opened in 1939 to when it closed. So rack your brains, and send any suggestions to our email GRVCboard@yahoo.com. The complete list of rooms needing names is listed on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/GraysRiver/. Also you can check out our facebook site for pictures of events, news and times of future events.

We will be taking names until December 15. At this time the names will be reviewed and chosen for each room. Thank you in advance for all your suggestions and input.

The Prime Rib dinner was excellent, thank you to everyone that attended. Shonda Ware and the board members served a delicious meal, and high school students served, they were a big help.
