Bob was an active supporter of Wahkiakum Mule sports, especially if it involved his kids, and later on his grandchildren. He was a Trailblazer, Seahawk, Mariner, Husky/Cougar fan as well; he loved sports!

In his retirement years Bob loved to research his family genealogy, which led to several trips to visit relatives in Sweden, as well as hosting some of the Swedes who came to visit Cathlamet.

He is survived by his six children, Ron (Linda) Hendrickson, Dave (Sandi) Hendrickson, Larry (Sandy) Hendrickson, Joan (Dirk) Zeller, Heidi (Tom) Aasen, Carol (Pat) Ross; Bob's grandchildren, Kara, Kristi, Scott, Rhiana, Kali, Shayna, Heather, Ryan, Matt, Megan, Maddie, Brady, Molly, Wesley, and Annabelle.
