Coming Events--Community Center in Cathlamet

Here comes the sun! The past week at the Community Center has been full of excitement. Gardeners, the Seed Exchange is this Saturday @ 10 a.m. Make it a part of your weekend to stop in and meet some local Master Gardeners and choose some seeds for your plot. Spring is fast approaching, so this event will help jump start you into a happy, healthy garden.

A correction to last week’s paper, visits from the health care authority will be at the center on the first Wednesday of every month. If you missed out on going yesterday, and you need help with applications or assistance navigating benefits, be sure to come in April.

Wednesday March 13 from 11-1 p.m., Emergency Support Centers CVAP team will hold a free presentation on commercial sexual exploitation and abuse. Please contact the CC if you have any questions regarding this informative gathering. An informed populace is a strong populace.

Do you have a skill that you think others would benefit from? If you have the desire to teach a small class, you can reserve the Community Center to share what you know. Contact Kelly Patterson if you have any ideas or questions on how to get started. There are a lot of talented, intelligent people in this community, connecting people with skill is a great way to make friends.

From us here at the Community Center, we hope you have a safe and fun weekend.
