Wahkiakum track and field athletes competed in a Central 2B league meet in Onalaska last Thursday. The Mules placed sixth out of six teams in boys’ competition and earned 14 points. The girls finished with 93 points and came in fifth place out of six teams.

The Eagle reports up to sixth place in all events.

Boys

800 meters—5. Tucker Thomas 2:39.74. Discus—4. Eli Moon 97-00. Triple Jump—4. Tucker Thomas 31-00.50

Girls

400 meters—2. Megan Leitz 1:11.00. 800 meters—3. Ellie Leitz 2:49.28. 100 meter hurdles—3. Teylor Sauer 20.17. 4x100 relay—1. Charlie Ashe, Megan Leitz, Mckensi Fluckiger, Teylor Sauer 1:58.57

Shot put—5. Jansi Merz 28:00.50, 6. Nalani Schultz 26-09.00. Discus—1. Jansi Merz 98-04, 3. Nalani Schultz 78-00. Javelin—2. Shelby McEneny 87-00. Long Jump—2. Mckensi Fluckiger 15-02.00. Triple Jump—2. Mckensi Fluckiger 31-03.50, 4. Ellie Leitz 29-09.75.

The Mules travel to Kalama today (Thursday) for another Central 2B league meet.
