The Wahkiakum Mule track and field team traveled to Napavine last Thursday for a Central 2B meet. The Mules took sixth place in boys’ competition with 21 points and fourth place in girls’ competition with 77 points.

Results for the boys, reported up to sixth place:

100 meters—6. Jamil Dimaano 11.98; 200 meters—3. Dimaano 24.61; 3200 meters—3. Tucker Thomas 13:15.11, 6. Dai Vo 16:05.63; 4 x 100 meter relay—3. Thomas, Zach Brandon, Vo, Dimaano 50.18; Discus—6. Eli Moon 94-09.5.

Results for the girls, reported up to sixth place:

The Mules will attend the Central League Championships in Kalama this Friday.

The Naselle Track and Field team hosted a league meet last Thursday. The Comets took first place in boys’ competition with 126 points and first place in girls’ competition with 156 points.
