WHS students take on varied activities

Here are some events that the Cathlamet FFA and CTE students have taken part of in the month of April.

Photo 1. KC Beery, Ashden Niemeyer, Bryson Havens, Kaleo Silva, Winchester Greenup, Hank Bassi and Zach Johnston went over to Wenatchee for state trap shooting. All of the kids shot well with Zach topping the team with 85/100.

Photo 2. In the second picture the CTE students have been busy building the garden raised beds. Here Henry Blankenship and Terry Nielson volunteered their time to cut a tree down in the farm forest and make lumber for the beds.

Photos 3, 4 and 5: High school students helped the younger students with the petting zoo. This was put on in the Agriculture Shop by FFA students.

Photo 6. The CTE students are out observing Terry Nielson trimming a tree that will become lumber for the raised beds in the garden.

Not pictured, students in the fisheries class were taking samples of fish to figure out the fish per pound in their race ways.
