Gordon Earl Holland, 96, of Longview, passed away on July 1, 2019, 44 days after the love of his life, Marie, passed.

Gordon was born November 11, 1922 to Ole and Hilda Holland on Puget Island. He left school in the 8th grade to become a commercial fisherman and for 70 years fished in Alaska and on the Columbia.

Gordon loved chocolate, was easy going, hardworking, loved to joke, and swore like a sailor. Gordon married, later divorced, Thelma Tover. He married Marie Moilanen September 2, 1954.

Survivors include Susan (Marc) Mattila, Barbara (Robert) Skreen and Loretta (Skip) Urling; grandchildren Andrea (Morgan) Aberle, Erik (Janelle) Skreen and Kelsey Urling; great grandchildren Taylor Aberle, Koen and Haakon Skreen. All live locally.
