Bats, Spiders, Owls-Oh My!

October 24, 2019

Lewis and Clark National Historical Park presents a free evening of stories, activities and exploration of night creatures at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26.

Do bats do aerobatics when they are not hanging around? Have a hoot and an owl-right time as they spin some fun tales and learn about night creatures on a ranger-led night hike. The ninth annual “Bats, Spiders, Owls – Oh My!” event will be held at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park.

The free event begins at 5:00 p.m. with the last walk starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center. The walk will be about 1/4 of a mile over an uneven trail through the dark forest, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight. All zombies, vampires, superheroes, princesses, and others are welcome. Enjoy crafts and treats inside the visitor center while waiting for the walk. For more information or questions call (503)-861-4414.
