The Wahkiakum Mules track and field team traveled to Toutle Lake last Thursday to compete against four other schools in a league meet. The Mules took second place in both men's and women’s team competition, earning 66 points and 62 points respectively.

For the Mule boys:

100 meters—5. Landon Nielsen 12.46; 200 meters—3. Jacob Johnson 26.69, 4. Biel Galve 31.06; 800 meters—4. Tomme Rossi 2:43.87, 6. Tucker Thomas 3:19.75; 1600 meters—1. Nathan Garrett 5:57, 2. Rossi 6:00, 4. Daniel Spisla-Hongel 6:44; 3200 meters—2. Garrett 13:41.47; Shot put—3. Jerimyah Johnson 36’, 4. Eli Moon 34-11; Discus—2. Moon 100-01; Javelin—1. Nielsen 15-10; High jump—2. Galve 4-02; Long jump—4. Nielsen 15-10, 5. Johnson 15-05.5; Triple jump—2. Thomas 28-06.

For the Mule girls:

3200 meters—1. Megan Leitz 16:36; 100 meter hurdles—2. Lilian Hale 24.72; 4x200 meter relay—1. Jansi Merz, Hale, Teylor Sauer, Leitz 2:07.28; Shot put—1. Kamryn Watkins 30-04.5, 4.
